CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF SALE


All purchase orders must be communicated to Peacock Saws Pty Ltd verbally as confirmed by a company representative, or in writing. If there are any details required by your company to be included in an invoice, it is your responsibility to make sure they are provided by your representative in your purchase order. The responsibility of Peacock Saws Pty Ltd in relation to the merchandise supplied ceases upon delivery to you, the post office, railway, courier, or other freight carrier. Peacock Saws Pty Ltd carries no insurance cover for any goods “in transit” from the company to the premises of the purchaser. Insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser.

The merchandise supplied is guaranteed against faulty workmanship and deficient materials. In the case of a warranty claim, items must be returned to Peacock Saws Pty Ltd for the assessment of the claim and its eventual approval. The return of goods will be the responsibility of the purchaser and all costs incurred will be borne by the purchaser.

Title in and beneficial ownership of the goods shall remain with Peacock Saws Pty Ltd until the purchaser has paid the full price of the goods. In view of this provision Peacock Saws Pty Ltd shall be entitled, at any time, to enter upon the purchasers premises to recover and dispose of the goods for which payment has not been received.

The invoice covering the merchandise supplied will be inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax. No GST will apply to export sales or GST free sales.

Special warranty conditions may apply to certain goods and this position needs to be confirmed with Peacock Saws Pty Ltd. Goods supplied by the company are guaranteed against faulty workmanship and deficient materials. Furthermore “special purpose” goods produced to a customer’s specifications are not returnable.

Goods are guaranteed against faulty workmanship and materials only until point of delivery. To protect its interests, the purchaser must inspect the goods supplied and report any claim before the merchandise is put into use.
